Where to Apply your Oils

Where to Apply your Oils
Plants have been used since ancient times. They were used as medicine, for beauty, for perfume or air fresheners and so much more. Throughout the years people figured out how to use synthetic ingredients to copy the scent of these plants and people forgot where it all began. They started relying on these synthetic products.
Most of these synthetic products are hazardous to your health. Respiratory issues, infertility, hormone imbalance, and circulatory issues just to name a few. These toxins get stored in your cells. When you are overwhelming your body with these toxic chemicals your body can't keep up to filter them all out. People may not even realize they are sick until they detox from some of these chemicals. When I started researching essential oils, I was looking for a company that was organic. A company that was transparent about what went into their products.
I found Young Living. Any land they farm on must be pesticide free for 50 years for them to grow products on it. Anyone is welcome to visit their farms and see how everything is done from planting to harvesting to distilling and bottling.
Is this important to you too?

Have You Tried Essential Oils On Your Cloth Masks?

Have You Tried Essential Oils On Your Cloth Masks?

Like many others, wearing a protective face covering may have become a part of your routine lately. It's recommended by the CDC, but wearing a face mask isn't always a pleasant experience. Essential oils could help!

Make a diluted mask spray with a very fine mister and use it as an easy (and natural!) way to instantly refresh cloth face masks and support your overall well-being. Just a spritz can make running errands a little more pleasant, supportive, and hopefully a little less stressful too.

Here's what I used…

- 4 ounces distilled water
- 2 ounces witch hazel
- 5-10 drops essential oil – the amount may vary based on your preferences or with the oil you choose, but I recommend starting lightly and increase the drops later if wanted.

Because oil and water don't mix, witch hazel acts as an emulsifier to help the ingredients combine.

Some oils and blends to try…

- Lavender
- AromaEase
- Bergamot
- CitrusFresh
- Thieves
- Clove (this smells incredible with a little Orange mixed in)
- Stress Away

OILS & EMOTIONAL WELLNESS

OILS & EMOTIONAL WELLNESS
You don't have to be an Aromatherapist to use essential oils. Time for a little schooling 🤓

Aromatherapy works by the client inhaling essential oils and or applying them topically in order to stimulate the Olfactory system 👃💨 Smell receptors pick up molecules of the essential oil and then communicate to parts of the Limbic system such as your amygdala and hippocampus which are the areas in the brain where we store emotions and memories. The amygdala is important in controlling anxiety and fear, plays a roll in controlling aggression. The hippocampus is associated with learning and memory.

Aromatherapy has been noted as early as 1923 to have an immediate effect on respiration, pulse and blood pressure and a significant effect on the central nervous system. Aromatherapy can be combined with massage, yoga, acupuncture and diet as part of a holistic lifestyle ☯

A licensed Massage Therapist can use Young Living essential oils and offer the topical application of essential oils diluted with massage oils and/or an aroma experience using a diffuser. Massage already aids in an emotional release of things like depression and grieving. When you experience an intentional aromatherapy massage, true balance can occur. More on this can be found here.

These little bottles don't just have clever names. Most give you a clue as to what they can do for you, yet Young Living nor I can guarantee your experience.
