Summer is in full swing! Have you tried incorporating essential oils into your meal preparation yet? The Vitality Dietary Essential Oil Line gives you the freedom to explore some of the most-loved essential oils in a variety of nutritious and delicious ways. You'll find four distinct categories—Herb, Spice, Citrus, and Supplement— so there's definitely a Vitality oil that will be perfect for your taste! I encourage you to explore them all, whether you're outside on the grill or inside whipping up fresh smoothies.

Here are some of the great recipes I found!
Orange Vitality – Need a cool pick-me-up? Blend frozen strawberries, 6 drops of Orange Vitality, almond milk or juice as preferred, fresh or frozen spinach, and half a banana starting on low and increase speed until smooth. Bonus: this is also tasty with a shot of NingXia Red. Enjoy!

Black Pepper Vitality – Use in marinades and rubs for pork, beef, poultry, or seafood. It's great added to garlic butter sauce for roasted vegetables and especially in homemade salad dressings.

Lemon Pepper Drizzle:
-2 tablespoons olive oil
-2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
-1 teaspoon sugar or sugar alternative
-1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
-Sea Salt to taste
-2 drops Black Pepper Vitality – add as many drops of Black Pepper Vitality as you want. Start low and add to it after having a taste.
-Remember to shake well.

Parsley and Thyme Vitality – Have you jumped on the Cauliflower bandwagon? There are so many recipes out there now substituting traditional carb-filled ingredients for cauliflower. I find them to be remarkably enjoyable!

Chive & Garlic Mash
-Try steaming a pound and a half of fresh Cauliflower until tender (approximately 6–8 minutes), then drain well and transfer to a food processor.
-Season with three garlic cloves, sea salt & pepper to taste, and two drops each of Thyme and Parsley Vitality oils.
-Blend to a puree, adding a little plain greek yogurt for texture – about ¼ cup.
-Top it off with fresh chives and serve hot.

Mountain Savory Vitality –  Mountain Savory doesn't lose its flavor while cooking, making it awesome for slow-cooked dishes. Do you have a tried-and-true soup recipe?

Savory Navy Bean Soup
-Place 1lb of uncooked white beans in a large stockpot and cover with water, allowing to soak overnight for 8 hours. In the morning, drain and rinse beans well.
-Fill crockpot with 8 cups of water, three chopped slices of uncooked bacon, 2 diced carrots,1 diced onion, and season with sea salt, pepper, and 2 drops of Mountain Savory. Cook on low for 6 hours. You will love all the flavor that comes from a slow-cooked soup!

Coriander Vitality – Enjoy its versatile flavor as you prepare cuisines from around the world, including Chinese soups, Indian masalas, and Mexican salsas.

Smoky Chevy's Salsa:
2 lbs fresh tomatoes
2 drops Coriander Vitality
1 large onion, sliced
2 jalapeno peppers
¼ cup fresh chopped cilantro
4 cloves of garlic, minced
Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste

-Lightly char the veggies on all sides. This can be accomplished with an open flame on the grill or oven broiler on high. Remove when slightly charred and the tomatoes soften and split.
-Let cool and drain accumulated liquid.
-Remove stems from jalapenos and core ends of tomatoes, then place everything into a blender and pulse until desired consistency.
-Serve this smokey salsa cold with your favorite tortilla chips!
